@kiaraantonio1210 Saying literally everyone Hamed fought were "tomato cans" is just being ignorant. Manuel Medina, Tom Johnson, Kevin Kelley, Wilfredo Vázquez, Wayne McCollough, Paul Ingle, César Soto, and Vuyani Bungu are not "tomato cans". Hell, even the "unknown Spanish guy", Manuel Calvo, wasn't bad, being 33-4-1. He may have not been very well-known, but he had a good record and wins over legitimately decent competition.

Hamed was a knockout artist. He also headlined many times, so what are you talking about when you say he was an undercard fighter? He won three world titles, and he made 15 successful defences. Before Barrera, he beat very good names like Kevin Kelley, Manuel Medina, Tom Johnson, Wilfredo Vázquez, César Soto, Paul Ingle, Wayne McCullough, Vuyani Bungu, Steve Robinson, and way more. He had many complications going into the Barrera fight, and that was literally the only time he lost. 36-1 with 31 knockouts. Try doing your research next time.

@peaceseeker9927 Not an all-time great? If that's the case, why was he inducted into the International Boxing Hall of Fame? If that's the case, why does BoxRec rank him as the 35th-greatest European pound-for-pound fighter of all time and the 17th-greatest British fighter of all time? If that's the case, why does ESPN rank him number 22 on their list of 25 of the greatest pound-for-pound fighters of the last 25 years? If that's the case, why does World Boxing rank him as the 11th-greatest British fighter of all time? If that's the case, why does Gareth A. Davies of The Telegraph rank him as the 10th-greatest British fighter of all time? If that's the case, why does The Ring rank him as the 46th-greatest puncher of all time? If that's the case, why did Steve Bunce state he was the greatest British fighter of all time? If that's the case, why did the UK public vote for Hamed's victory over Kevin Kelley on the list of the 100 Greatest Sporting Moments? If that's the case, why has he inspired countless fighters across different sports such as Conor McGregor, Israel Adesanya, Tyson Fury, Floyd Mayweather Jr., Carl Froch, Amir Khan, Kell Brook, Billy Joe Saunders, David Benavidez, Joe Cordina, Ricky Burns, Kid Galahad, David Haye, James DeGale, Badou Jack, Liam Smith, and Kal Yafai? If that's the case, why does he remain an extremely popular figure whose praises have been sung by Sean Ingle, Dan Rafael, Emanuel Steward, SugarHill Steward, Lou DiBella, and countless others?
I just destroyed you, you absolute fool. 😁

@isking1715 Yeah, maybe if the concept of "talking" lies beyond the reaches of your knowledge, DH. I honestly wouldn't put that past you. Most news sources aren't even mentioning it, so it did need to be said. Your words, fool, were you sarcastically saying that you'd never heard about it, as if I was talking to you. You having heard of it doesn't mean the person I was replying to also had. Is it more understandable now that I've spelled it out for you, little guy? I wasn't talking about that other stuff. I was talking about something we KNOW he did. I show respect to those who deserve it, and you aren't one of them. Listen well, because I'm not the one who should shut up here, mate.

@solidjet5859 Well, that was certainly a shift in attitude. I like how you say it could've gone either way, implying you wouldn't mind regardless of who was given the decision, yet when I favour the opposite fighter, you think I'm a hater. You're an idiot, mate. It speaks for itself that of the 18 media outlets that reported on the second fight, 10 scored it for Gennady, 7 scored it a draw, and only 1 scored it for Canelo. Truth be told, I do dislike Canelo, but that's because he's one of the most protected fighters in the history of boxing. They robbed Gennady twice so that Canelo didn't lose, they arguably robbed Erislandy Lara, and even in Canelo's only loss to Floyd Mayweather, one of the judges scored it a draw. Not to mention, Canelo has failed a drugs test on one or two occasions, and outright refused to take one before fighting Caleb Plant. So shut up, mate. Canelo lost both fights.

@popeye089 No. It's just you who thinks that, you casual.
He beat Steve Robinson, who made 7 successful defences of the WBO featherweight title before Hamed beat him.
He beat Manuel Medina, who held a world title on three separate occasions after losing to Hamed.
He beat Tom Johnson, who made 11 successful defences of the IBF featherweight title before losing to Hamed.
He beat Kevin Kelley, a former world champion very much in his prime with a 47-1-2 record.
He beat Wilfredo Vázquez, who had been the WBA featherweight champion just five months before Hamed beat him.
He beat Wayne McCullough, a former world champion who went on to give Erik Morales one of the toughest fights of his career.
He beat Paul Ingle, who won the IBF and IBO featherweight titles in his next two fights after Hamed beat him.
He beat César Soto, who became the WBC featherweight champion just five months before Hamed beat him.
He beat Vuyani Bungu, who made 13 successful defences of the IBF super-bantamweight title before Hamed beat him.
Get owned. 🤣

@KoolMonkE Your name proves you're a biased Spider-Man fan. Carnage is not well-known, he will be when the second Venom film comes out, but he isn't yet. Also, you listed Venom, who I also listed. Venom is only well-known now because of the film. Doctor Octopus, Green Goblin, and Sandman are only properly known from the Tobey Maguire Spider-Man films, and they are not as popular today. Rhino and Mysterio are only properly known from the PlayStation Spider-Man games, and Kingpin is really only properly known from Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse. Half of my examples are not "obscure as hell", they're well-known characters who, while not known globally, are more popular than any of Spider-Man's rogues gallery. I suggest not replying, I wouldn't want to destroy you too thoroughly.

@pbarron1349 No, you're the idiot here. I already said that he had complications going into it. You've completely chosen to ignore that and gone with the narrative that Barrera was an unbeatable god of boxing that would've beaten Hamed in any possibility in existence.
Hamed is 10-1 with eight knockouts against former or current world champions, so he certainly didn't fight nobodies up until Barrera. And Hamed had hand injuries throughout the majority of his career. That, coupled with the other complications I mentioned, is what led to his loss.
I already explained that I don't think Hamed would've won at that point. At his best, he certainly would've won.
Oh, no-one sees him as an all-time great? No, mate, it is you who is the fool here. I just utterly embarrassed you, you dumb casual. Get the hell out of here and never speak about boxing again, as you have not the slightest clue about it. You idiotic moron.

@kiaraantonio1210 You absolute casual. He only beat tomato cans, huh? He beat:
Juan Polo Perez, the former IBF super-flyweight champion.
Steve Robinson, the WBO featherweight champion who made 7 successful defences of his title.
Manuel Medina, a five-time featherweight champion.
Tom Johnson, the IBF featherweight champion who made 10 successful defences of his title.

Wayne McCullough, the former WBC bantamweight champion.
Paul Ingle, the future IBF and IBO featherweight champion.
César Soto, the WBC featherweight champion.
Vuyani Bungu, the former IBF super-bantamweight champion who made 13 successful defences of his title and was also the future IBO featherweight champion.
Augie Sanchez, the last American to beat Floyd Mayweather Jr. as an amateur.
Get destroyed. 🤣

@tonyazzaro9593 Mate, you honestly have not got a clue.
Lennox Lewis was 6 feet, 5 inches tall and 230 pounds, meaning he was closer to 6 feet and 200 pounds than he was to 7 feet and 300 pounds. Also, Lewis never used the tactic of leaning on his opponent. I also like how you used Tyson Fury as an example of this despite the fact that he's also fast, a great boxer, powerful, has great stamina, is extremely durable, has great movement, and everything else you can think of. He's quite possibly the most complete heavyweight of all time.
It's quite funny how you're suggesting Fury and Lewis lack in skill when most of your greatest heavyweights were mainly punchers with little to no technical ability.
The one thing I agree with you on is that AJ is overhyped. However, how the hell is Ricky Hatton overhyped? He went 43-0 before he lost for the first time, beat eight world champions (including Hall-of-Famer Kostya Tszyu), and was a unified and two-division world champion. Tell me again how that means he's overhyped.
Quit it with your bullshit. Most of your fighters are nothing but hype jobs. Your best fighters are Rocky Marciano, Floyd Mayweather Jr., Larry Holmes, and Tommy Morrison. The rest are hype jobs. Mike Tyson, Muhammad Ali, and Sugar Ray Robinson are some of the biggest hype jobs in all of the sport.
Sugar Ray Robinson was beaten by an Englishman in Randolph Turpin. Tommy Morrison was beaten by two Englishmen in Lennox Lewis and Michael Bentt. Mike Tyson was beaten by two Englishmen in Lennox Lewis and Danny Williams. Rocky Marciano even said of Don Cockell, an Englishman, "He's got a lot of guts. I don't think I ever hit anyone else any more often or harder."
I could go on because there's loads more things I could say, but I've embarrassed you enough. Also, your list of countries is a complete joke, as are you and your boxing knowledge.

@tonyazzaro9593 Look up Ted "Kid" Lewis and Bob Fitzsimmons if you honestly believe Lennox Lewis is the only British all-time great. I'm sure you're slowly realising just how little you know about boxing.
Hatton was fighting champions and beating them. Mayweather and Pacquiao were just better. His third loss was when he just didn't have it anymore. Also, just a few months before fighting Hatton, Tzyu stopped Sharmba Mitchell in the third round. So he most certainly wasn't "done". Try harder, mate. And you saying every boxer after Ali's era had no skill proves how little you know. Ali is overrated and mostly fought punchers with no boxing ability.
I can go way earlier than the '90s to find a good British fighter. I already have done with Fury and Hatton. Oh, and don't forget Joe Joyce, Leigh Wood, Sunny Edwards, Josh Warrington, and many more. It's also hilarious how you're saying I have to go as far back as the '90s to find a good British fighter when you're bigging up Ali, who was at his best in the '60s and '70s. 😂
Any pundit worth their salt knows how good Fury is. Nico Ali Walsh, Ray Mercer, and George Foreman himself sing his praises. His skill is obvious and way above any heavyweight before him, including your overrated Ali (who's only rated because of what he did outside of boxing).
Your country list is a load of shit, bro. Puerto Rico has produced fuck-all and Cuba and Mexico only produce decent fighters in the lower weight classes. Even then, they are also overrated. Oh, and "British dudes are nothing but food these days and the last 20+ years"? Okay. I'll be thinking about that whilst watching Tyson Fury destroy Deontay Wilder. 😂 Oh, and Fury is far more than his size.
Go back to your racism and school shootings, you dumbass. Those are the only things you guys know how to do.

@korbinklawitter5796 What I like most about Joker is that he's the literal opposite of Batman. Black Adam is Shazam's nemesis, and he's literally Shazam, but evil. Carnage is Spider-Man's nemesis, and he's literally Spider-Man, but evil. However, Joker is Batman's nemesis, and he's literally the opposite of Batman. Batman is a gritty, tortured badass whose moral code doesn't allow him to kill. Joker is an upbeat psychopath in vibrant colours who kills anyone he wants, as he has no morals at all. And on top of all that, he isn't just a goofy lunatic, he's an intelligent, calculated killer who has a deep bond with his arch-nemesis. That's why I love Joker so much, him and Batman are polar-opposites, yet they work together so well. That's why Joker is my favourite villain.

@jordonus8018 As from Wikipedia: "Lieutenant-General Sir Adrian Paul Ghislain Carton de Wiart, VC, KBE, CB, CMG, DSO (5 May 1880 – 5 June 1963) was a British Army officer born of Belgian and Irish parents. He was awarded the Victoria Cross, the highest military decoration awarded for valour "in the face of the enemy" in various Commonwealth countries. He served in the Boer War, First World War, and Second World War. He was shot in the face, head, stomach, ankle, leg, hip, and ear; was blinded in his left eye; survived two plane crashes; tunnelled out of a prisoner-of-war camp; and tore off his own fingers when a doctor refused to amputate them. Describing his experiences in the First World War, he wrote, 'Frankly I had enjoyed the war.'"
