@bobbymozza. He did say Putin was very clever. When he announced he was writing those four obasses over as now Part of Russia.. Trump did say, now that is a brilliant move, , Putin is so clever. He realy did think Putin could simply declare those areas as Russian and that was that. Probably where he got the idea of taking Greenland and Canada from. Emulating his hero Putin. Facts are it is up to Ukraine who they want in charge, and they did NOT choose Putin. Plus even now after three years they still do not have there troops in charge of those 4 areas. If Trump is trying to force Zelenskyy to „gift“ those areas Putin put his name to it would include huge areas they do NOT so far occupy, including many towns and cities. Zaporizhzhia alone with a population of over 700,000.

There would be no reason to finger point if their word had not been given. How is any other nation in this world ever going to trust in the US if they cannot be relied on in such a major important role as this. The promise was made. By all accounts it was bipartisan, yet because Trump, an egocentric with no office at all in government, wants Chaos to prevail in order to campaign on that Chaos to get HIMSELF elected the speaker decides to shut up shop. Trump is working for Trump and deliberately or inadvertently for Putin too, not for USA interests, otherwise the border money would by now be flowing.

@KittyCat Wake up. It is Trump that instructed Johnson to obstruct this bill. The bill includes the border package, it was added to appease the Rupublicans and passed by both parties. But Trump does not want it to go through. He wants the border troubles to be unsolved because Trump has realised it makes a good rant for his election Rallies. Tump works for HIMSELF, not the USA. Irrelevant to him the border situation and the unnecessary deaths of brave normal citizens of Ukrsine defending their homes.

@KittyCat The rescue plan for the southern border is in that bill Johnson is blocking. Trump does not want it to go through. He wants it stalled untill November, to get as much damage as possible for the USA border because he wants a broken border to be a major rally point. Trump thinks of himself ahead of the USA Iinterest and ahead of the more than necessary deaths of brave Ukrsinan civilians defending their homes.

ago @deusmorthem441 Not dumb. If Putin wants Kursk back he can do a swap. Also, it is Russia that is scared to fight forces against forces. They bomb towns etc to rubble while taking field after field. Then daily long distance shelling of civilian areas. Russia is taking the war to the citizens trying to weaken the support resolve. So far Ukraine has captured military defenders while rushing though the area and aiming at taking out every replacement or support troops and supplies Russia is sending into the area.

@CountDuckEgg. They have NOT lost all of Kursk. Over half they took is still in the hands of the Ukrainians. And Ukrsine invaded without flattening the peoples’ homes. Russia is using their traditional Blitz Krieg destruction system - on their OWN peoples’ residential buildings!

Also, when Ukraine took the land they allowed the Russians to evacuate those that wanted to leave - without ambushing and using snipers to pick off civilians like the Russians did with the humanity evacuation corridors pre agreed in southern Ukraine. The Russian troops then ransacked and looted the shops and homes of their own they were assisting to evacuate!

I still find Trump’s rhetoric as dangerous. The way he was speaking about taking control of the canal and then when demanding a USA has a hold over Greenland. By “wondering” if it was even lawful that Denmark has a right to Greensand has echo’s of. Putin’s speach when hhe saidvhe considered the sale of Alaska to the USA as illegal. Threats to Canada and the petty promise to rename The Gulf of Mexico as the gulf of America. “Sounds nice”! Sounds like the USA have voted in a wanna be dictator.. their right of course, but still worrying imo. Then Musk. There are fhiusands of people clever at something, but that dies nit make them experts on everything. The fame has greatly enlarged his head. He should keep out of U.k politics, he is (for us) a foreigner and no one here voted him into our government. As far as I can tell he was not voted into the US Government either, just bought himself a position of influence. But then that is USA’s Affair not mine, money talks. Party politics is different there. However, buying votes, then has the cheek to talk about corruption elsewhere.

@fortunateone6857 where did I say they did? Donbas is in Ukraine, Russian speakers are living throughout all ex-soviet states. Ukrainians and Russians living there. Putin‘s Wagner Warriers were specifically formed in Donbas in 2014 as agitators. He also sent insurgents into that area specifically to create unrest and avenge Ukraine‘s bid for independence and rejection of the Moscow supported candidates. Putin wanted to take control over Ukraine even back then. Even earlier in his 2021 essays. All part of the plan.

@Corgiengineer. I think that was a Russian initial report on an attack that took place on the 5th of September. Ukraine announced it was 6 jetskis, the Russians chased them off after some fighting. The Russian speachman updated later that it was six. Russia captured one of the Ukrainians after he fell off the machine into the sea during the escape and later broadcast a arecorded view of him captured.

@nenad6787 we were in a good place before Putin took over. The end of the Cold War. The space programs and various cultural exchange events. Russia opened up to the rest of the world. The Soviet Union into independent countries etc. Then along came Putin with his imperialistic ego. His KGB training working to undermine the governments of the neighbouring countries and beyond. Any isolation FROM Russia for the own protection of these neighbouring countrues that just want to be free from Putin’s hand in their pie.

@wolfswinkel8906 I have Heard- that the progress of the Russians in the pipes had been monitored. They were walking with only the lightest of weaponry and food supplies for 3 or 4 days. At the destination they were mostly killed. Then Russians sent out the usual nonsense rumour that the deaths were caused by “gasses in the pipes”. Hiwever I do suspect the Ukrainians had planned to leave quietly earlier on. Possibly Putin needs to get feed back from the front that they are “winning” to ensure he does NOT sign the immature cease fire plan. ?

@patrickcain9082. I heard that those Russians had been monitored during their 3-4 day hike along the pipes and had been killed on arrival. The Russians put about the usual ‘save face’ rumour that the men with limited small arms and little food died in the pipes from gas. I was wondering if a quiet withdrawal had been long planed. Putin needs to feel confident he is “winning” to ensure he does not sign that inadequate cease fire deal. He did not hold to the human corridor arrangement when setting his snipers to pick off civilians as they left their homes in Ukrainian townships under siege back in 2022/23. Only Trump believes Putin over all his advisors, so the point that he cannot be trusted has to be made over and over again., unfortunately.

In jest I trust. I do not think even Trump would like a boarder so close to Russia. Curious is what would happen with Alaska if Trump continues to antagonise a riff with Canada? Putin has (2023) already mentioned he does not consider the sale of Alaska to the USA as legitimate. (It is Putin’s surge on the history books looking for reasons to take claim to foreign land.) If Trump thinks Russia’s theft of Ukraine is justified, then why not Alaska. If he believes countries have a right to annex neighbouring land, then maybe Canada should take Alaska?

I thought the Moscow suburbs Theater attack and the street fights (attacking the police) in the Far easten Provences made then an internal Enemy.
