  1. Sabateurs will use anything to hand. There is a rumour that the French used as Labour to build bunkers along the northern coast by the occupying Germans added sugar to the cement mix to make it weaker. I do not know if this was true. We were on rations in the U.K. so I suspect sugar was very expensive at the time.

  2. They can only 1. report on as much as has been confirmed. 2. They can bring in people that have personal experience to share for interview and 3. they can make their own judgements on known facts, but have to say their personal opinion only. If someone that was there reports in, free to post on here.
