  2. I find the audio easier. I can listen while getting on with life. As with football on the radio, the text carries the descriptions. Otherwise I would be tied to the screen so not to miss what they are talking about. There are videos with map references elsewhere.

  5. The West did embrace Russia. In 1991 Russia (along with Ukrsine and others) chose independence. Gorbachov opened up Russia. Only after so many years of communism they found it hard to adjust. Oiligads practicly stole the countries assets and created so much unemployment. This enabled years later Putin to take such a hold. From the onset he followed his plan to reverse the path to Glasnost. His model was Stalin and his aim to regain the Soviet regions. He wrote about it in 2021 and Kremlin Rhetorik currently reveales his true intentions.

  7. That was the Soviet Union. Gorbachev opened up Russia. Putin has closed it down and has zsar ambitions. His speeches are more Hitler like than ever before.

  9. @petergreenwood7731 A Russian win woukd mean Ukraine no longer exists. Democratic Europe as we know it neither. Refugees escaping ruthless authoritarian regimes would have nowhere safe to escape to! Other autocratic dictatorships are taking note. Anyone that thinks the USA and every other freedom loving country will not be affected by such a monumental defeat is delusional.
