  1. @davidshapiro292 we no longer live in the Middle Ages. A “boarder” suggests there are two (or more) involved. It could be that one country wants to split, or two countries want to swap aras for administrive reason for example, but there is a discussion, an agreement met. One bully country cannit just walk accross the boarder and declare, “this land is now mine” Zelenskyy did March 2022 offer to give those regions the vote on if they want independence from Ukraine , but Putin ignored him because he had lied about his true intentions and at the time was not interested in a dialog with Zelenskyy.
