  1. This was a special edition. The usual ‚Ukraine the latest‘ runs Monday to Friday. They sometimes broadcast these pre-recorded one-off interviews in the interim. I get to hear the broadcasts one day later. So will be listening to the usual updated Monday broadcast tomorrow, Tuesday.

  2. Also Interviews with front line soldiers are not usually a good oversight of a battle. Because it endangers lives they cannot give away too much info of their positions or ammo situation. Posters from WW2 announced „Careless Talk Costs Lives‘ as Martha also said she will not give away too much information about her father. Likely he does not reveal much. But also the view from a trench is limited. What happens when, where reveals itself later and announcements should only happen after the troops involved are debriefed and out of danger.
