that is not what he said. He said complete defeat in Ukraine. (Putin could easily just withdraw of course, but that is unlikely to happen). He was saying if Russia is not defeated in this land grab, then a future of this type of disorder will escalate worldwide. The Russians are not being denied their homes, Russia will still be Russia, just as there is a Germany after the tyrant Hitler was sent packing. Obliterating another people, their homes, their culture is Putin‘s plan for Ukraine. No one attacked Russia.
