  1. They picked up a radio message saying lost contact. I should think equally or even more so of a loss for Russia will downing of the the specialist crew into the sea. Is it likely there are more or fewer suitabley trained pilots than planes?

  2. The med iteration is surrounded by cities built by various previous occupations. Moden day Turkey and Italy could make claims to towns in Tunisia for example using your reckoning. The Romans built roads and founded towns in most of western Europe (ie Colchester). Most big cities in Europe have a multiple of ethnicity origins. As your city building in Ukraine was a result of colonisation, that logic gives Spain and Portugal rights over big chunks of South America? What could modern day Greece or Egypt re-claim? We know Putin likes to re-write history books to claim “Ukraine does not exist”. But looking into it Ukraine was a place before Russia even existed, so let’s stick to the present day shall we. Ukraine, Moldova, Poland, Latvia etc are ALL individual countries and have jurisdiction over their own land TODAY.

  3. According to Russia The IL-22 was damaged but managed to land. The A-50 they lost contact with, so this would be the one that disappeared into the sea.
