How is it a victory? Because they say so? They also said they have no intension in invading Ukraine, just 24hrs before they did.

@ashutoshk7, agree Putin is some crazy guy. He just goes not care about his citizens, even his best friends die playing with grenades whilst high in the sky mid-flight. Others fall from high rise windows or they drink dodgy tea. A real phenomenon how those close to Putin seem to die in such accidents precisely at the time in which he has no further use for them. At least it means they will not cost him any pension money for their service.

Who said the Ukrainian counter offensive was cancelled? The RUSSIAN Ambassador to the USA said it. As for blanket bombing cities to smithereens, this has always been Russias tactics in war. No distinction between civilians and military targets. The same way they bombed in Syria. They do not need lessons in committing atrocities. Rape, beheading, torture, abduction all practiced by Putin’s Wagner group and practiced by them in Africa too.

Africa will regret the smooth talk from Russia. Bearing gifts of destruction. So all those fleeing the violence they provoke for Putin’s gain will flee to Russia for protection? If they can send insurgent to provoke and encourage war in a country they feel is family, what will they do to countries they care nothing for?. Just want your youth to die on their front lines. In your countries they will pick a side, the highest bidder, to support in murdering others.. their principles are simply murder for cash, or minerals. The more your people argue amounts yourselves, the richer the rewards for Russia. They promote conflict not peace.

@juchou2983 Russia has had a boarder with NATO since it’s foundation 1949. Norway is a founding member of the post WW2 alliance. They knew it was no threat. This “because of NATO” was and is a lie. Putin has continuously changed the reason he gives for this land grab. He has progressively moved Russia away from the reforms of perestroika and killed off Glasnost to regain imperialist power over the countries of the disbanded Soviet Union. If you want to give your country to the largest neighbouring you have, then go ahead. Ukraine, Moldova and Georgia are independent sovereign countries that do not want to be ruled by Russia.

@zacthegamer6145 Not everything not every person. Maybe you feel threatened? Most just want peace and to have a happy environment in which to bring up their children. Teach them about diverse cultures, about music and dance. Dictators make wars, because by inventing an “enemy” they can convince their people that some outside force is the reason their lives are shit. That way they can keep most of the revenue earned by the workforce for themselves and for those they need to bribe to stay in power. The citizens then fight because they think some imaginary enemy is envious of their homes. The officials support the dictator because that gives them a position of privilege. And later they find out they dare not refuse support because those that do after becoming aware that dictatorships are shit suddenly are falling out of windows. Ie Putin murders them.

.. @zacthegamer6145 I am very familiar with nature thank you very much. I probably know more plants than you, about outcompeting for space about seasons and companion planting. Some plants do not tolerate each other, some work together like fungi and tree roots, like mosses and clover. Some are parasites that are tolerated, like mistletoe. I know about the food chain and survival of the fittest, but we are not animals, we are humans. We are programmed to work in communities for the good of the group: to survive long winters or other extremities. We need to create a safe environment to bring up our young, Even some animals do that. Work in groups with ‘Aunties’ looking after the Creche. Yes for the survival of the species. I do not know what you mean by my agenda, maybe you have one. Mine are only observations, as are yours presumably. However the one person looking out just for themselves is not helpful for the good of any nation. A dictator is generally week inside, a continual need to exert his power in fear of appearing weak and being ousted for it. Putin changed the law to allow himself to be “re-elected” beyond the number of terms previously allowed. He has no wish to relinquish absolute power.
