@ignacio3890 And you have lots your marbles. Russian casualties are around 300,000 so far. And your maths is bad also. What is 20 x 40.,000? Not that hard, but you say 1.160,000 ? Russia has almost four times the population of Ukraine. So, yes the percent wise the numbers are high. @ between 70,000 and 100,000. Which is up to a third of the Russian casualties. Russia is using prisoners to fight and asking foreign students to sign allegiance to Russia.

Except things have moved on since WWII. Drones. The Russian forces are coming wave after wave. Each time a high proportion of their tanks and personnel carriers are being destroyed. Even by their own minefields.

@georgekaradov1274 DJI have such drones. Russia is not making new tanks. They are pulling old ones out of storage and “renovating” them. They recently got jeep type vehicles from China and missiles from Nirth Korea along with drones from Iran, and goodness knows what from Turkey.

@ananke2104 They did. Russia has systematically attacked town centres, shopping malls, hospitals, etc. Yesterday’s mamouth missile strikes were all aimed at cities and built up areas. 30 dead. Ukraine has attacked oil depot, armament etc. thus is the first time they have hit normal houses. After two years of Russia flattening their towns and villages. Look at the images of bombed out Ukraine tiwns. You think a whole town was a military target?

@benanders4412 Are you saying because Ukraine is the underdog we should not help them? Russia will just continue, Moldova, Latvia etc. Putin has already made deals with Hungary. If we do not help Ukraine there will be more trouble for the USA and NATO. In Africa and out .East too. BRICS.

@davemacdonald5261 That is not true. Putin does want the whole of Ukraine. Feb. 2022 his tanks were directed towards Kyiv. Putin had a replacement for Zelenskyy already prepared. OK, they did not expect a resistance considering the ease in which the 2014 annexations took place, and so they may seem to have lessened the demands, but that is only for show. If they demand Crimea and the three newly annex regions (not just the Donbas) this year, then they will be back for the rest by using the same tactics of sending in insurgents, then attack, Russia’s military commander admitted only last week. “Kyiv is Russian. Odessa is Russian.” THEY WANT THE LOT!! Putin himself wrote his vision in 2021. Following Dugin’s 1997 book Foundations of Geopolitics. You cannot listen to the words spoken by Putin or the kremlin. He is not an honest speaker. (KGB manipulator) who has already re-written history books and changed the constitution to extend his time in power. You have to know what lies behind his words. See what he does not what he says. Georgia, Chechnya, etc. we here KNOW the workings of Putin. All opposition behind bars! I do not know how you explain to folks accustomed to freedom of speech and transparency all around them, of how this works in Russia. The same people that believe their election was stollen! @@jaimegrant784 Such a perverse comment. Putin is newly making noise about “war crimes” because of the many proven war crimes registered against him and his troops. This one attack, which as you say could have been the Russians shooting down of the 17 Ukrsinian missiles. Ukraine hit and destroyed an Electronics factory making components for the Russian military in Bryansk. Putin in anger at the destruction of their ship some days ago sent overnight 122 missiles to Ukrainian cities killing 39 civilians. His targets were civilian. Whether shrapnel fell on the buildings or not Putin AIMS at civilian buildings.
