And if the platforms really wanted to fix the issue, they could easily do so by auto-registering and auto validating every video as part of the upload process. If their algorithm can track and auto block harsh language in the comments, they can make it track and auto flag plagiarism too.

I used to work at a waste water treatment plant, never fell in, but I did get splashed across the face multiple times, and each time, it was about 6h of expulsions at both ends with a moderate fever, followed by 18h rest before I was back in buisness

@sintanan469 medical emergency amputation is a different ballgame. Most cats are declawed out of maliciously lazy people who view pets as little more than a fur shedding roomba that jumps on top of things and feel entitled to mutilate the adopted pets to 'protect' their precious furniture, or other BS esthetic reasons. Same kind of delusional narcissists who cup dog tails...

Also, mark the area and notify authorities without approaching it.

@JMon2021 because he's insane...

Clever... this isn't your first torney, is it?

It is also clear that cats vary in intellect and curiosity as well as adapt their vocalization and communication pattern to how we treat and communicate with them.

@zzzubmno2755 never got rashes, but the times I got sick was when I got live sludge or water on my lips while handling areator pumps, sludge pumps, clearing the rag transportation screw at the main intake and the hoses and cables of submerged pumps. Those kinds of incidents happened maybe 4 times in five years, but one or another of those categories of equipment was handled almost daily. Also, it depends a lot on how the process itself is designed and what comes in, my plants were municipal sewage treatment, industrial process waste water treatment can be a whole other beast.

Nah, since I knew I'd be getting bald from observing my dad and grandpa, I made Joe Kucan my hair role model back in the early 1990ies when I first saw him as Kane in C&C on the Win3.1/MS DOS running 486 PC in my neighbours basement.

@thedittogirl11 only for stationary stuff such as base defences or specific parts of ships or aircraft as the shield requires a stand-off distance proportional to the width of the concealed object and the radius of the prisms.
4
@DoctorProph3t no, you'd need to build this into a greenhouse like structure around your shed several meters out from the shed wall. We are talking a four bedroom house sized structure of these panels to hide a 10×10ft shed.

For some tips and tools, I suggest heading over to the How to ADHD channel, Jessica has a lot of good videos on everything from relationships to motivation traps, time management, task management etc.

What about barbed boat railings that impales any jumping carp?

If the proverbial box provided by society doesn't fit, get the prybar, hacksaw, glue and nailgun to make improvements until it's shaped the way you need it to be.

@kylehill I grew up on an island (Gotland, in the Baltic sea) where these kind of vortices formed naturally against offshore under water cliffs whenever the prevaling wind was perpendicular to the shore, which was the most common case of wind. (both out and ingoing winds) The shores and beaches were covered in warning signs about it, and casualites has dropped but it still happens, mostly to children, foreign tourists or seasonal main land guests with summer houses there and more arrogance than sense.

@EvilEri11 to some brainwashed people, beeing "idle" is on par with a capital crime. They usually identify themselves as conservatives and subscribe to the "bootstrap" fallacy that anyone can "make it" if they just try hard enough...

I'd say fit a drone boat with a cage covered in barbed spikes that will impale and trap the jumping fish as they jump, with a barb retraction function so that the dead fish can be released in a controlled manner. Then have such drones patrol the parts of the river where asian carps have been spotted.

Kyle, a cat with a different set of grooming problem is the sphynx as their lack of fur prevents them from reaching an area on their throat and there isn't any fur to carry the oils and dirt away from their skin. Easiest sollution is to adopt at least two cats regardless of breed ^^

What I don't get is why the extension of the control rods weren't threaded and fitted with a nut that allowed the crew to pull it up gradually by turning the nut until the torque applied gradually overcame the corrosion in a controlled manner that a direct pulling human just can't achive.

Ha! I only have a Ti-82

If the cat scratches furniture, put scratching pads or boards around the surface until there are no vulnerable places to scratch. Or just trim the claws regularily to keep them too blunt to pierce the furniture.

@3:7 I feel personally attacked...

Now, something I would like to know is how feasible is it to extract raw materials like metals and minerals from lava at an industrial scale?
1
So, it wouldn't work for vehicles or other wide moving objects due to it's required stand-off distance to the masked object? And would it work with sqare base hemispheres instead of half cylinders?

Mine is ADD, got diagnosed at 32... One of my closest 7th to 9th grade friends have an Asbergers diagnosis since before we met, and while he certainly had his quirks, the difference is how he percives the world and thinks about it is one of the reasons we are still close friends and his special interests and special forms of creativity got me hooked on table top wargaming with warhammer fantasy back in 1997.

Inside the outer gates to the old fortified upper city of Tallin, the way to the inner gate is a good 150-200m 20° incline that gets narrower towards the top, with the inner gate offset 90 degrees right at the upper end after a rounded, still inclined curve. The wall at the outside of this trench is almost 30m tall at the outer gates, the inner wall is a hand smoothed natural cliff face of hard limestone... The design is made for allowing defenders to roll heavy, possibly burning barrels down at the attackers before the inner gates are shut in the mangled and dying attackers faces and the hail of arrows and rocks start from all sides.

@IanBpa no, going by the other hate comments in other threads by the same account, he's spot on the money.

@Ludvigvanamadeus It's both, Youtube has every chance in the world to design a system that applies copyright law without the bias against small content creators or the intentionally obtuse anti-user support system...

@alfredjames4530 everyone has an obligation to know what a procedure means, in detail, before subjecting anyone or anything other than themselves to it. There is no valid excuses.

One of my best childhood friends with ASD had a personal assistant at school who helped him in certain classes where his ASD complicated things. He's still one of my best friends, 24 years later.

I feel the same about my ADD, and to my anecdotal experience, the people with autism I've gotten to know makes great friends because our different abilities and dificoulties tended to compliment and synergise to create cooperative results better than the net sum of our individual best abilities.

@overloader7900 like certain presidents?

@rrmordikay and then we have things like chinese companies stuffing plastic new age "jewlery" with Thorium and selling it online as positive ion "aura cleansing" medical aids...

What I don't understand is why youtube can't train it's algorithm to scan for and automatically block mass uploads of videos that match too much of videos that are already on their servers and MAC-adress ban the hardware the mass uploads originate from...🤔
