  1. John, I met what was likely Polish GRU agents posing as foreign exchange art students trying to solicit charcoal portraits at the door of my parents house in the 1990s... Exept they olby visited the homes of comissioned officers serving at the Costal artillery regiment... And the town was in the middle of a military defense zone where no foreign (or dual citizenship holders), were allowed outside urban zones or county highways... As in there was litterally no rational reason for a pair of foreign art students to even be there as tourists...
