I'd say the developer owes her for the increased taxes, the cost of removing the house, the cost of completely restoring the land, ALL legal fees incurred to her so far AND ×2 punitive damages plus interest and inflation on the whole ammount from the second the first developer employee set foot on her land.

Sounds more like newspeak for indenture/slavery to me...

Why don't you file tresspassing charges when they refuse to respect your property line? Also, destruction of property for the mown down hay. *I also suggest getting a surveyor out there and mark the border with .5" rebar sticking up just above the cutting height of the neighbours mower blades...😉

@robertwaguespack9414 what baby?
61
Yeah, the kid should be placed in foster care due to the parents criminally entitled attitude... and the parents should be thrown in jail and forced to pay damages and restitution for all the destroyed mailboxes.
45
@rhoonah5849 after the boss tried to order him up a third time, you should have helped your son file a police report for attempted murder against the boss.
42
Steve, I think a DA should attempt to argue that if a board of executive uses the company to comit crimes and tresspas against their supposed customers through misleading or unrefusable one sided contract alterations, then the company/corporation, in it's entirety, should be considdered a tool of organised crime and thus subject to the same criminal asset forfeiture procedure as a burglars power drill, a robbers firearm or kitchen knife, a drunk drivers car or a C-P-perverts harddrives.
34
If I were you, I'd also try to find someone willing to investigate him and his department for corruption and RICO under the colour of law.
33
As someone who grew up alongside these games developers, I'd say that this deal can go either very good, or very, very bad for the gamers. And unfortunately, going by the buisness strategy trends of all three, the end user would be fucked over sideways in the rear end with a dry cactus without as much as a reach around...
32
And these problems are on top of the atrocious ways the 'gig' companies treat their workers.
31
High Lord Baron and that clause should be illegal to begin with
29
Why is a defendant ever liable for court fees even when they win a case? That's insane.
27
100%
26
Sounds like a 1st A violation to me
21
I'm betting the neighbour has some religious grudge vs the mother for beeing single.
21
And sentenced to a chain gang for life.
20
@Verifiedbyme if that was the case, then handsfree setups and GPS wayfinders would be illegal too, which they arent.
20
@Sylusssss not really, it makes more sense to sue the city/county/state actor responsible for public road maintenance if they have been unreasonably derilict in their snow/ice clearing duty.
20
Or hire another shift and reduce shifts to 8hours..
20
Sollution: don't allow private cars to stop in a school zone even for pickup, tow and fine those who try and make them use the school bus, a bike or their own feet.
19
Or, at least dissasembled into constituent particles
18
Wtf?🤯
18
Definitely, as a European observer, it seems like this judge has a fundamental bias in that every defendant coming before him is guilty
17
And hedge fund managers! 😊
17
And why didn't the judges intervene and force the insurance company to replace the rabid lawyer as well as notify the BAR of his atrocious misconduct in court?
17
@toolbaggers that makes monsanto worse from an ecological context...
16
This is why criminal asset forfeiture procedures should be applied to companies that are caught breaking the laws. Treat companies as tools of the crime, just like a burglars power drill or lockpicks or a robbers firearm. Those criminals don't get their tools back once the court is done with them, so why should white collar criminals get to keep their crime tools when they will just go back to using them again in the exact same way?
15
Can't the LEO be charged with aiding and abetting the crimes as well as breaking their oath of office by refusing to do their investigative and enforcing duty?
15
It's not pointless, it's deliberately malicious.
15
Imo, If the project the Eminent domain is claimed for isn't initiated as in planning permits and financing filed and project proceding accordingly within 90 days of the court decision, or, if it's canceled, two things should happen automatically and immediately on the 91st day. 1) The property deed(s) should default back to the original owners as is and the original property owners keep the payment of the ED order as damages for government overreach and abuse of powers. 2) The public servants/officials responsible for the decision to invoke Eminent Domain becomes suspended from office without pay and subject to criminal investigations of corruption, theft under colour of office and subject to impeachement proceedings immediately pending the corruption and perfidy investigation.

@RoseKindred when the fey queen signed the contract that gave her the right to my first born and I asked when we were going to start, she tried to take me to court, she claimed I had signed with dishonest intent. She knew she had no case, so I made her settle for a dinner and a movie😉
14
@MonkeyJedi99 I'd say they should be in solitary confinement for the rest of their natural lives.
14
Having the corporation that try to maintain exclusivity on repairs be liable to compensate losses due to downtime in excess of 48h.
14
@michellehawkins1027 the Finns hated it and was elated when it ended so they could go back to their traditional 3mile comfort zones...😉
14
@ohsweetmystery next of kin can be designated as an emergency contact, those listed as emergency contacts can often be called rirectly from the lock-screen without unlocking the rest of the phone.
14
They also shouldn't be allowed to shedule interviews of kids at school at all unless the kid is a witness or victim and either parent is the suspected perpetrator of the crime. In which case a lawyer should be present.
13
@alastorclark3492 common pop...
12
@nickstone1167 if anything is mismatched on an ID card, and the clerk still processes the request and allows the person to leave, then why the hell isn't the clerk already beeing charged as an accomplice to felony bank fraud?!🙈🙉🙊 At this stage, after the "lost" arbitration, I think that family should go to the press and demand the State prosecutor act against the bank for how they are aiding and abetting bank fraud and theft, perjury, protecting fugitives from justice, covering up multiple crimes and the arbitration firm with RICO and gross miscarriage of justice.
12
There should be a limit on public agencies and institutions that they are only allowed to appeal civil cases if the cities legal costs plus damages will be less than just paying up what the citizen demands in restitution if the public institution looses the appeal.
11
@john.smith.. the church, or any other religion for that matter, has never had any purpose aside from accumulating wealth and influence through psychological manipulation and induced stockholm syndrome to maintain and expand their protection racket and prey on the ignorant, the gullible and the desperate with the false promises of salvation from a terroristic threat of inescapable punishment, just like every other organized crime syndicate.
11
And microtransactions as a euphemism for gambling for kids through extra steps (in game currency bought with real money)

The intricacies of the US concept of voter registration baffles me a bit since my own European country manages all that automatically using the tax registry, with everyone that's been registered in the same place more than six months prior to the election automatically qualify for local elections, including foreigners on a student or work visa. Regional and national elwctions require a permanent resident permit, but does not require full citizenship. The voting cards are physically mailed out to anyone who's qualified to vote in each specific election and, by law, the vote is always held on a Sunday. In addition, pre-election voting stations are open for almost a month prior to the actual election date, and anyone who cast their vote there are allowed to change their vote on election day, in which case the sealed envelope with their voter number is maculated.
11
@steveschaps2178 which is why the penalty for companies breaking the law should be fines against the execs and controlling majority shareholder(s), AND, Criminal Asset Forfeiture applied to the company itself as the company was the tool used to comit the crimes.
11
Buisness sanctions should have two levels, first level is fines, if the offense is repeated under the same controlling majority owners, the buisness in it's entirety should be subject to immediate criminal asset forfeiture and seized with all it's assets but it's credits and loans personally imposed on the board of directors...
11
So he was suicidal...

I would have replaced the cinderblock wall with an 8ft deep rubber walled above ground swiming pool. 1) it would stop cars with minimal collateral damage or loss of life. 2) it would flood the engine compartment and electronics of a car hitting the pool. 3) it's relatively cheap and easy to repair and will douse any fires in a conventional vehicle (drivers of electrical vehicles with Lithium batteries better run from their car)
9
Only vehicle that can would be a 6×6 or 8×8 armored car or any tracked AFV, but most of the tracked AFVs in the world isn't fast enough to catch up to even try pit stopping it😂
9
And with interest
9
and how would they enforce that?
9
That's because the owners of the 3rd party delivery companies canafford to pay google to uprate their results more than the restaurants can.
