If youtube shut down in three months, I'd be frustrated at having to go through all the channels I follow and compile a spread sheet of who intends to go where as creators, which are going to subscriber only services which are going to safeish ad-funded platforms and how many of those different services I can afford to pay for or have the focus to hop around between. Those latter factors will then be critical for which creators I'm forced to abandon and which to follow elsewhere. The ONLY plus of youtube is the diversity of creators accessible through a single venue.

Is the same policy active for Audible?

@rayrous8229 if a company removes or disables anything in a customer device the company itself should be seized as evidence and then forfeited through selling it's constituent parts at executive auction and transfering all of it's IP to public domain creative commons in the same way as any other tool modified and used by a common citizen to facilitate any kind of crime would be seized, examined and destroyed as part of the court process.

@jilbertb unless an NDA is covering IP or product trade secrets, they are unenforcable and some times even illegal in themselves. Never sign.

My only frustration with this, is that I think you gave him too long respite and too many chances to refuse self correcting before you turned the heat up... Imo, he didn't deserve a chance to self correct, and his crimes are not possible to forgive no matter what the law says

The former owners and board should always be liable for any transgressions of a company they ran for the rest of their lives.
1
The principle is still relevant.

Bribes and threats and lawyers.

Nothing communist about it, it's fascist neo-monarchy
1
Your right to be a selfish dumbass in private doesn't entitle you to force your employer to endanger the rest of your colleagues or customers.

Youtubes buisness model is malicious by default.

No, what would get them to stop would be if collecting and/or trading of metadata at all would be an espionage level felony for everyone complicit in deciding to do the crime.
1
Imo, if a corporation is allowing any obvious template standardised scams to remain or return after even a single reported incident by refusing to create a template filter that autoblocks the scammers access point from the platform on a hardware ID level and forwards the attempted wire fraud to applicable law enforcement agency in the scammers country of residence, then that platform should count as an accomplice to the crime after the fact and not only void their platform priviliges, but void the buisness licence of the whole damn corporation and get it's asset seized and disbursed under criminal asset forfeiture and the executives themselves liable for monetary restitution and damages after the dismantling of their tools of the crime...

Lying to public representatives should be a felony.
1
@Mr__Anon-E-Mouse that would defeat the purpose of Trumps appointments of incompetent saboteurs.
1
Something I do think would be acceptable instead of an implant user lockout is, a system where a discomfort report from the one beeing oogled causing the cyberoptics to superimpose an Aug-reality black censor bar (old school J-porn style) over the parts of the oogled persons body that they don't want oogled until that person is no longer in implant<->implant/tablet/phone direct wi-fi range.
1
@dalfifran7572 the slowness of delivery by USPS is due to deliberate sabotage by Trump appointed postmaster general in an attempt to screw up mail in votes of the 2020 election.
