  22. Caleb Whittington No, I never spoke about christianity in particular, it goes for ALL religions and the more extreme versions of political ideologies too. If someone has been taught to belive without proof, in one thing, they are more likely to belive other things without proof aswell. It only prooves people are far too gullible and intellectualy lazy for their own good. I have never heard of this Anthony, and don't care why he had a relapse, it doesn't proove anything.

My claim is that religious belief is a socially imprinted mental disorder; Eg something your closest family and role models teach you Before you are even old enough to make a distinction between fact and fantasy and that in severe cases locks the mental development of the Child so that he/she actively promotes supersticion and myths pulled out of the ass of a bronze age tribal as a universal truth.

As far as I understand it, the massacres of Alawites was not ordered or sanctioned by the new Syrian government who is supposedly trying to arrest and investigate the perpetrators who took advantage of a power vacuum after an Assad supporting militia attacked and massacred a government garrison of roughly two companies.
