  22.  @rich7447  fair point, however, the way to that goal is not over these kinds of frivolous attempts at bullying the judicial branch to assist a criminal executive branch to enact a coup d'etat. The path to restore public confidence and respect of the election system is to make it fair and to implement the call to action used to motivate the founders of the US in the first place: No taxation without representation. And to make it go both ways. No representation without taxation. Eg: someone who makes tax deductions to near 0% effective income tax would loose their vote, and everyone who is dilligently paying their taxes should be automatically registered to vote, jerrymandeering would be criminalized, the vote would be permanently shifted to happen on a national holliday and any attempt at discouraging or obstructing a voter from casting their vote would be a felony. And corporate lobbying would also be criminalized as a felony.

Tbh, if a candidate can be shown that they likely knows that someone is trying to buy votes for them, and the candidate does not report that offense themselves immediately, that candidate should be automatically disqualified from running and stricken from the ballots regardless of the stage of the election process.

Because, you know, school systems doesn't teach the whole picture in one semester, they build it up so that each grade expands on and details what previous grades skimmed over in a simplified way so that children will have the mental tools to gradyally build their understanding of the world as their brains develop...
