@shanehull6235 paedophilia is the psychological disorder of beeing romantically attracted to prepubescent children. There are milions of pedophiles who understand that their attraction is always harmful and thus never allow themselves to act on it's impulses. Those deserve help and support to keep it that way. At the same time there are millions of child rapists who only assaulted a child because the child was an easier target than an adult or a way to indirectly hurt people associated with the child without any attraction to the child what so ever, and because of that absence of romantic attractions, those rapists/molesters are, by default, not paedophiles.
