  2. As far as I've been trained, they should be aimed at belt buckle height at a distance of ~50m, where the vertical spread of the pellets is around 2m.

  5. is this size of claymore the only size of Charlie-TV in the US inventory? I ask because my own countrys conscript and volounteer militia training includes four sizes, the smallest one is 3kg, has around 450 0.88g pellets, the second is 4kg with ~925 .44g pellets. The bigger two are 10.3kg and 24kg with 840 3.5g and 1200 5.6g steel pellets respectively. The two bigger ones are designated anti-vehicle mines, while the two small ones are designated defensive charges. None of them are allowed to be rigged as traps, only for controlled, wired remote detonation against observed and identified targets.
