Ron DeSantis doesn't want to talk about it, but during the debate with Gavin newsom, Gavin Newsom pointed out that insurance companies are leaving Florida in droves. There are at least 3 to 4 hurricanes a year destroying property in Florida. So underwriters are refusing to write policies in the state of Florida. Other than General liability, you can pretty much forgetful full coverage.

@masonhales Exactly. And then you have people that want to turn around and blame politicians for something that can't control in the private sector. Like insurance companies abandoning a state.

@BearMack1 Just two? There are insurance companies that will not go to Florida at all. When you have four hurricanes a year of various sizes battering the coast of florida, you're not going to get too many people raising their hands to ensure homeowners.
