Comments by "" (@theylied1776) on "Sanctions won’t stop North Korea nuclear program, time to face reality: Amb. Bolton" video.
Well, be prepared for 25 to 30 million people to be dead in South Korea and Japan. That's the price of war with North Korea. Also, keep in mind Russia and China have both said they will honor their defense treaty with North Korea if the United States launches a pre-emptive strike against North Korea.
5
It does matter, 25 to 30 million dead is one of the best estimates, the worst estimate has the entire Korean peninsula turned into Chernobyl with trade winds blowing radiological material towards the United States. The North Korean contingency is the most war gamed scenario in U.S. military history. This is why it's been called the No Win Situation since the late 60's.

saichand mandava What Russia has now is called a Treaty of Good Neighbors with China and Russia will come to the aid of China in defending its borders, just like China and Russia did in 1951-1952. Both countries share a common border with North Korea. Both countries have sent envoys to the Pentagon and the White House affirming they will honor their treaty [if] North Korea is preemptively attacked by the United States. Make no mistake about that, both nations have a history of defending, supplying, and arming North Korea.
1
saichand mandava Again, Russia and China have both sent envoys to the Pentagon and the White House affirming they will defend North Korea [if] the United States preemptively attacks North Korea. Russia has made no secret even though there are sanctions against North Korea they are still supplying North Korea with replacement parts for their MiG-29s and all 200 of their mobile missile launch platforms.
1
saichand mandava China and Russia will engaging in full scale war against the United States because they have too much to lose if they don't. China is trying to position itself as the dominant power in the Asian Pacific region they want to control the shipping lanes in the South Pacific the same way they control the Panama Canal that adds an additional 3 trillion dollars to their economy if they succeed.

saichand mandava every Military Academy has to war game the North Korean scenario, I had to and North Korea will retaliate with everything they have. Their object isn't to win a war, it's to kill as many people as possible. Within the first hour over 1 million people in Seoul South Korea will die simply from artillery shells tipped with chemical, radiological, and biological agents. They have over 200 mobile launch platforms that are undetectable until they're launched and you only have a window of five minutes to find them before they move on and are undetectable again. United States cannot take out their guns or launch platforms easily that will take several months of constant bombardment because some launch sites are built into the side of a mountain and others are embedded in 12 foot thick concrete. This is why North Korea has been known as the no-win situation since 1953. At minimum 25 to 30 million people in South Korea and Japan will die, that's without question or argument.
1
saichand mandava Where exactly you getting your definition of defend from because our defense treaty with Japan means that we have boots on the ground, Manpower and material in the theater of war.
1
saichand mandava North Korea just with Conventional Weapons will kill 25 to 30 million, that's the best case scenario. The worst case is nuclear. North Korea has over 300,000 artillery shells that can easily reach Seoul South Korea, that's why 1 million people will die in the first hour of fighting And they have over 30,000 missiles. And thanks to the USSR North Korea has the largest arsenal of chemical, radiological, and biological weaponized material in the world. Biological and Radiological material are exploded over a populated area, that will last for months if not years. This is why secretary of defense Mattis says there are no good options, this is a no-win situation. It will be the single worst loss of life since World War II. This will be a Pyrrhic Victory.
1
North Korean weapons aren't hidden, we know exactly where they are. Their Artillery Guns are embedded in a mountain range and in 12-foot thick concrete bunkers.... and their missiles are mobile. Like Russia, 80% of North Korea's short-range missiles or ICBMs are mobile. So, the U.S. has no idea where over 200 missile platforms and missile ordinance trucks are at any given time. This is why the sanctions target their fuel shipments because without fuel the mobile launch platforms are stationary.
1
The U.S. will never sign a peace treaty with North Korea as long as the Kim family is in charge. What the U.S has done is amended our treaty with Japan. Japan is now rebuilding their Navy and Army to levels that haven't been seen since before WW2. That will be a big change in the balance of power in the Asian Pacific region.
1
You act as if there was another outcome here? Again, this is why the North Korean contingency has been called the No Win Situation since 1953.
1
Their weapons are "embedded". That means we can't easily destroy them. And any preemptive strike by the U.S. will bring China and Russia into the conflict to defend North Korea. North Korea knows they cannot win a conflict with the United States but they can kill 25 to 30 million people in South Korea and Japan in less than a day. That is their entire strategy.
1
saichand mandava Exactly, that is his long-term goal. This is why when Kim Jong-un took power after his father's death he purged anyone in the military he considered a threat, including his uncle, and then he murdered his own brother. North Korea may reunify but it's not going to reunify under communism or dictatorship.
1
saichand mandava That might be one step too far even for Russia and China. They might step in and oppose that. A nuclear-armed Iran would threaten Russia's and China's business dealings in the Middle East. And it should go without saying if Israel ever caught wind of Iran seriously developing or buying nuclear weapons they would just take the facilities out.
1
saichand mandava North Korea doesn't do anything without the permission of Russia or China. Why do you think Russia and China are still supplying them with fuel and coal. You did watch this video, right? Why do you think China increased their trade with North Korea by 41% after the sanctions?
1
saichand mandava No, North Korea won't be selling nuclear technology to Iran because that makes Iran a threat to China and Russia. It's a cliche for a reason: You don't bite the hand that feeds.
1
saichand mandava Look, how do you think North Korea Keats their mobile platforms working? It's because of Russia, they send North Korea replacement parts for their mobile launch platforms and their MiG-29s, without Russia they basically have bullet without a gun North Korea doesn't produce oil or fuel, they get that from China, So, without China supplying them with fuel everything comes to a grinding halt. This is chess not checkers.
1
saichand mandava North Korea doesn't develop and produce complex Machinery like Jets or mobile launch platforms, they buy them from Russia. China can't even make mobile launch platforms on the level of Russia, Germany or the United States. Can you please tell me a single mobile launch platform that's designed and made in North Korea? Pull up any YouTube video of any of there military parades, all of the military hardware is Russian made.
1
saichand mandava If North Korea is using reverse engineered launch platform from China Heaven help them, because China can't even produce a jet engine strong enough for their own jet fighters, let alone sophisticated military equipment like mobile lunch platforms. Every Chinese jet that's been made so far has Russian made avionics and engines and that's including the J-20.
1
saichand mandava You mean North Korea re-engineered the Chinese reengineered mobile platform that was re-engineered from the Russian MZKT-79221. Let's be honest here, North Korea doesn't do anything without the permission of China and Russia.
1
saichand mandava if you could please give me a link to the schematics, I would really love to see that. China does not have a military industrial complex. The same Chinese companies that get the military contracts in China are the same companies that make washing machines, televisions, and vacuum cleaners. Why do you think it took them almost 15 years to refurbish a single aircraft carrier.
1
saichand mandava All of the Avionics and the engines on the J-20 are Russian. China just doesn't have a military industrial complex that's comprable to the United States the UK, France, Italy, or Japan.
1
saichand mandava None of those articles have the schematics and I would like to see them because the J-20 has more in common with the Joint Russian and Indian 5th generation fighter than it does the F-35. I don't doubt try China probably stole the schematics for the F-22 and F-35 but China doesn't have the expertise or material to build an F-35 knock off.
1
saichand mandava Without actually seeing the schematics I would have to say the j-20 is more in line with the Russian and Indian 5th generation fighter because the j-20 uses Russian avionics and engines. What I'm trying to say is you can't take American engineering and mount Russian engines and Avionics in it or on the back of it... it's not going to work. I can guarantee you that placement and the thrust-to-weight ratio must be precise.
1
saichand mandava Then my only point is the Articles only serve as opinion versus fact. I don't have any doubt that China stole the schematics designs for the F-35 but they don't have the the expertise, material, Advanced Electronics, or experienced aeronautical Aerospace engineers to reverse engineer an F-35.
1
saichand mandava The Japanese do but not the Chinese.
1
saichand mandava China doesn't have the expertise, this is why they're buying Boeing and Airbus for the commercial liners and why they're buying more Russian fighter Jets instead of building more of Their Own. Those are facts that can't be denied.
1
saichand mandava The British can't even build the F-35. This is the royal Navy is buying them from the United States instead of buying Jets from the French or the Germans or building their own.
1
saichand mandava It's impossible for China to have components used in the F-35 because no one builds them except in the United States. And the United States, UK Germany, Italy, and France will not sell avionics to China for their fighter jets. Just the basic research and development to get some of these components right would take them years if not decades for them to get correct. Keep in mind, it took China 15 years to refurbish a single aircraft carrier that they had the schematics and parts for.
1
saichand mandava China might be able to copy and paste simple machinery and electronics but when it comes to a jet fighter, like the F-35, they can't copy certain components. China cannot make sophisticated Electronics, this is why the avionics and engines on the j-20 are Russian, this is why China has ordered the SU-35 from Russia. China does not yet possess the expertise. Again, this is why it took China 15 years to refurbish a single, Russian Ukrainian aircraft carrier, they don't have the expertise. That's not to say they won't have it in 30 years but they don't have it now.
