McCarty is like that kid in school who thinks that he is popular and keeps showing up at parties, and doesn't realize that he wasn't invited, but no one has the heart to ask him to leave because they feel sorry for him.

@ybrix101 No, I never implied that McCarty is "so unpopular", that's what you inferred. I directly claimed that "he thinks that he is popular". Those are two very different positions. The implication is that McCarty is delusional in his beliefs. And the three votes yesterday proved me right.

Did anyone else hear what McCarty said about his qualification for being Speaker of the House? "They have no other candidate". That statement alone explains why he is a Trump bootlicker.

@ybrix101 Ummm. McCarty LOST three votes! And the Democrat opponent got 212 votes. 19 Republicans still refuse to vote for McCarty. There still isn't a Speaker of the House. The Republicans basically had a Red Wedding yesterday!
