Does anyone remember what the result was when the last time this level of deregulation happened? Look up Savings & Loan Scandal. So, good luck with that.

@phillipr7556 That's what regulations are for. To keep corruption in check. But once you deregulate and tell a bunch of Corporations you can self govern yourself with no checks and balances they will take advantage of that... it's happened before and it will happen again.

@frostbite3820 What does a lack of regulation in Flint Michigan have to do with deregulating corporations that get subsidies on top of tax breaks from the American taxpayer?

@frostbite3820 Oh, I see what you're saying.

@phillipr7556 Well, we've all seen what happens when there is no regulation, you create monopolies like Standard Oil, Carnegie Steel, and Cornelius Vanderbilt owning 70% of the railroads in the United States and Canada. You have the Savings and Loans crisis in the 1980s, which sent that the United States into a recession. And the Subprime Mortgage Crisis in 2007, that sent the United States into a recession. So how is the alternative to all of that slavery?

@phillipr7556 Regulate morality? No one is suggesting that.

@phillipr7556 That's not what corporate regulations are for. You don't regulate morality through legislation. When you use a term like morality you start to get into the realm of religion.
