Comments by "" (@theylied1776) on "Republican lawmakers challenge Trump over steel, aluminum tariffs" video.
Trump is an idiot. There's no way you're going to get American companies like Ford, Chrysler, and Chevy to buy steel or aluminum made in America at three times the price they can get from South Korea, China, or Japan. Trump can try to place tariffs on imported steel and aluminum but that's only going to spark a trade War, which will lead the United States into a recession. .

haha hillary lost trump won And your proof would be what exactly?

haha hillary lost trump won That is the dumbest comment I think I've seen all day. Trump is talking about putting tariffs on imported Steel and Aluminum-alloy. There's a reason why South Korea, Japan, and China put U.S. Steel and Bethlehem Steel almost out of business in the 70s. There was plenty of competition but given the exchange rate between the US dollar and their currencies we couldn't compete. You can remove all taxes and make it a Level Playing Field, their currency is so cheap they would still put American steel mills out of business. And now you're talking about competing? Just constructing new steel mills would be an investment of 600 million to a billion dollars per steel mill.

Talking points? Prove me wrong. This is basic economic theory.

Sure, why not. If an Idiot like Trump can do it then it should be a problem for me.

Are you high, is English your second language? What are you babbling about?
1
What welfare game are you referring to? I don't know of any welfare program that will buy someone a car. What are you babbling about?
1
Again, what welfare game? What specific program are you babbling about?

Nope, a president cannot negotiate on the behalf of a private corporation or impose tariffs unilaterally. The Congress and Senate MUST approve of all treaties and trade agreements. And last time I checked Clinton had a Republican Senate and Congress.
1
Lovely "conspiracy theory". I guess that's all you're left with since you can't change or argue with the facts.

sih1688 "Nope, a president cannot negotiate on the behalf of a private corporation or impose tariffs unilaterally. The Congress and Senate MUST approve of all treaties and trade agreements. And last time I checked Clinton had a Republican Senate and Congress." Prove me wrong, Jethro.

sih1688 Surprise, surprise a corporation based in Bill Clinton's home state donated money to him. Wow, you really crack that case. For a second time, genius, a president can not negotiate on behalf of a private Corporation with another country. And treaties and tariffs must be approved by the Congress and Senate... and during that time Bill Clinton had a Republican Senate and Congress.

sih1688 This is why people can't take conspiracy theorist like you seriously, you depend on opinion and you present no facts to back up your claims.
1
sih1688 Also, last time I checked Uranium One was a Canadian company based in Toronto. This is why neither Intelligence Committee, in the House or the Senate, had to investigate or approve the sale. But please why don't you tell me why neither intelligence Committee in the house or the Senate investigated? Why didn't a single Republican on either intelligence committee raise any questions or concerns? Again your claims are easily disproved with simple facts.
