Here's the thing, Congress would block that acquisition. Because they will make the argument Amazon already has an unfair business practice because Amazon already has a dominating presence in the online retail space and have driven retailers out of business, because they do not have to make a profit to stay in business unlike a brick and mortar. They operate under a different set of rules when it comes to profitability so Congress would block that acquisition.

derty QWERTY Apparently you've never taken any business courses or economics. You don't know how business works because acquiring Target would be a write-off for Amazon. Again, they don't need to make a profit at all. The structure for a digital retailer, like Amazon, is absolutely different than it is for brick-and-mortar lock Walmart. Why do you think Amazon acquired Whole Foods? And by the way, this entire video was useless because Amazon acquiring Target is only a possibility at best.
