Yes, Volvo is owned by a Chinese conglomerate but the Volvos sold in the United States are manufactured in the United States.

Car Sales with slow down and people would lose their jobs by the thousands, Jethro. At least take your head out of Trumps ass long enough to understand the tariffs he's imposing.

  3. Dennis Walker The tariffs aren't specifically targeting Auto Parts. Trump is using a clause in a trade agreement, it's not that specific.

Dennis Walker Let me dumb it down for you even more, not all auto parts are made of steel and aluminum... and the ones that are that means the American auto parts retailers are paying the import Tariff, that means the American auto manufacturers are paying the import Tariff. Not the Chinese parts manufacturer. So who does that hurt? I'll give you a minute to think that one through.

You're a fucking idiot if you believe you can rebuild any industry that's labor-intensive because the United States cannot compete with certain countries when it comes to labor cost. When one of our dollars is worth $30 in a foreign currency it's impossible to compete with that that type of an exchange rate, dumbass. And I hope you're not talking about the coal industry because that's not coming back at all, coal in America is going to be dead in about 15 years. Thanks to Natural Gas.
