  1. Someone needs to explain to Jocko the ideologies in Germany and Japan were NOT religious! They were cultural and economic, that's why we succeeded in those two countries. You cannot change a region's religious ideology in 20 or 100-years! The British tried to do this in Afghanistan starting in 1839, and they were there off and on for almost 80 years, and they failed! You cannot save everyone, no matter how hard you try.
