  2.  first last  Yes, there is a loophole. The Gun Show loophole says that you can "privately sell" a gun to anyone in your own state without having to report the sale. If you go to a gun shop, they must under law report that sale. But at a Guns show, all you need to do is "ask" to see an in-state driver's license. I go to gun shows all the time in the where I live and I rarely see anyone asking for a license outside of the direct view of the event coordinators,. If you're on the main floor sellers ask to see a license because sometimes there are state regulators walking around. And there are plenty of transactions that happen in the parking lots without anyone showing a license. That is dangerous.
