Not My Kids Not My Problem. The money you would thanklessly spend on supporting another Man's kids is money not taking advantage of compound interest in your retirement accounts. Let's say you were with a single mom for a year and in that time you spent $5,000 supporting her kids. Over the course of thirty years that $5,000 would be worth quite a bit if it was earning compound inrterest and growing the entire time. You can't afford to be with a single mom.
