  1. I don't have a car payment. My only big bill is my mortgage. I live beneath my means and use credit wisely. My 401 (k) continues to get fatter every month through my maximum contributions. I guess it all comes down to choices & priorities, and whether or not people are falling victim to advertisements & the marketing departments, and being unable to delay gratification.
