  1. Speaking of a Man with no bills, last year my car decided to have catastrophic engine problems at 70 MPH a few months after I paid it off. Murphy's Law strikes again. Anyway, I decided rather than jump into a new set of car payments I would save up until I found a good used car. Luckily I was working from home and didn't need a car very often. After ten months I found a good used car with a lot of life left on it. Now I have no car payment, cheap insurance, and my annual car registration is only $42. Living beneath your means should be the goal. With the economy the way it is you do not want a car payment.

  2. Back in 2016 I got into my house at a 4% rate. I'm glad I got in when I did. If you do the math on a 30 year mortgage at 7% interest compared to a 30 year mortgage at 4% the amount of money a person would have to pay at the higher rate at the end of the loan is staggering.
