Gen X here. I had a good work ethic instilled in my at an early age. It has served me well. Funny story: six years ago I needed to get a second job and I thought delivering pizzas would be easy enough. The manager there knew to hire applicants from my generation because of our work ethic. And working among Gen Z was quite eye opening. I'd never heard anybody say "my anxiety!" before.

@marcozegikniet9301 I needed to get a second job because I was relying on OT to pay the bills & living beyond my means. When the OT was cut off I found myself in trouble. I worked my way out of it and am now in a really good place, comfortably living beneath my means.

@MarijuanaSmog13 Seriously? Have you ever been around them? I'm Gen X so it was quite illuminating interacting with them. Their work ethic is crap. They are entitled and whiney. They have imaginary anxiety because they were never taught coping skills. They've always been told how special they are, were given participation trophies, and were never allowed the benefit of learning from failure. They are glued to their smartphones and constantly checked them while at work. Are there exceptions among them? Of course. Overall though, my description stands.

@pedrokantor3997 The funny part was interacting with the younger generation and observing their imagined anxiety over the slightest inconvenience.
