  10.  @balesjo  We know hindsight is always 20-20. Thunderbird could have been the Ford's answer to Corvette but Ford lost a nerve there (though Ford did not go bankrupt either). Zo, it's the year 2020, a year with perfect vision and we all can place our bets. I think Mustang is the car of youth but the marketing farts like to dream about the Mustang-of-old owners to buy into their second youth -- oh, and bring the kids along. This puts a dilution stress on the brand. Remember the New Coke? Yes, Ford marketing does not want to get rid of/replace the old (they are smart enough), but they need the new generation to discover the thrill of their own youth with Mustang-e. My short answer is to bring out the 'Mach 1n E' fast version with short back seats where only (the future) kids could fit.
