  1. I have a nifty double pouch for my phone that closes with a dry zip. The whole thing fits in my pocket. The inner pouch surrounds the phone (with conductive fabric) making it electrically inaccessible and I do not even turn the phone off. The outer pouch has the conductive fabric on one side only and this is the side I keep against my body (think health) and receive calls as usual. I test the EMF isolation once a while when I notice the tower signal is strong. So far so good. But, yes, I did not test how well the outer pouch keeps the outside sounds muffled. Oh, do not speak credit card numbers or passwords aloud -- takes practice and engage the family.

  2.  @machtschnell7452  I bought a used (first model) of the iPhone. It was unlocked. When I was later refused paid service for it, this iPhone became my last iPhone. Never looked back even though I still have it on display for the technology sake. Yeah, I wish I could fit IBM 360 in my room.

  5.  @LouisPhilip9  Don't watch TV. Takes work but the best part is when you happen to see some TV later on. It seems you are watching the most bizarre world. And it's not just about vaxxing. Yea, if you are a techie, start with the scientific method and have fun without TV.

  8. I am seeing more adverts since I agreed to Google's double-authorization. Google even offers the option of pairing with Bluetooth between my phone and any laptop I have Google account on. So far the adverts are from internet retailers I purchased from in the past but I am watching it and may even leave this pairing phone at home at times as I am weaning out from doing email on the go. But if I find out I cannot sign in because I left my phone at home I am going to reconsider the "benefits."
