  1. Icke takes ideas that succeeded in generating some public interest or emotion and then he just runs with it with his own flavor. It could be the Matrix, ETs, or global control via this or that cabal. It will not be Flat Earth or Renaissance, because these items ran their course a few hundred years back. So he is always one step behind riding the populist crest. You will not find him revealing free energy devices or a cancer cure because, gee, this would set free a large part of the population. That's icky.
