  1. This is great news. If Europe gets its own army, then we can be sure that Germany will be concerned about its own interests instead of the interests of the United States. As a Russian, I fully support this decision. If the EU is strong, they will seek peace instead of the escalation imposed by the US.

  2. As a Russian, I believe that Europe should get its own army and give up US control. Only the sovereignty of the EU could stop NATO from deliberately provoking Russia with the military development of Ukraine. As long as the EU submits to the US, there will be no peace in Europe.

If Europe were strong and independent from the United States, then the current war might not have happened, because NATO would not have taken the path of escalation with Russia through the military development of Ukraine. Europe does not benefit from confrontation with Russia and they would refuse it.
