@bachelor3846 In fact, the prerequisites for this were quite a long time ago, back in the 2000s. Maybe, of course, the West expected that Russia would accept the role that the West had prepared for it, but they had to take into account the risks.

@matp.4360 Yes, the demographic situation in Ukraine is rather deplorable. Even before the war, it was rather sad there, as Ukrainian youth were actively leaving for Europe, but along with the war, these rates only accelerated. The big question is what future awaits Ukraine without youth...

Pretty sad situation. Cooperation between Europe and Russia could benefit both sides. But this won't happen. Now our country is trying to reorient itself to the Asian market.
