  4. You misunderstood the situation. There was no real name change. Back in 2014, the Donetsk People's Republic recognized Bakhmut (Artemovsk) as its city. Accordingly, they did not recognize the renaming of Artemovsk by Ukraine into Bakhmut and called the city Artemovsk.
