This could work if your countries did not violate contracts with Russia and at the same time did not bear any responsibility for this. You cannot Justify the withdrawal of reserves by breach of contracts, this is just theft and can undermine the credibility of the euro and the dollar as reserve currencies. Any country can no longer be sure that the US will not take money from them for some contrived reason.

@ronnie5329 Wait a minute, imposing sanctions on Russia and blocking reserves is not a breach of contract, but stopping gas is. Okay, I got it, I have no more questions ;)

@ronnie5329 You have been discussing for a long time the possibility of imposing an embargo on oil and gas. You yourself wanted to violate contracts with Russia, but refused because of your dependence on energy resources. Your sanctions have unilaterally broken a huge number of contracts between Russia and Europe. Who are you trying to accuse of contract violations? You yourself have devalued any contracts between Russia and Europe, so you cannot blame us for their violations. ;)
