Yes, this is expected. Interaction between Russia and NATO will be reduced. This has happened many times in history. Perhaps in a century all this will stop and we will cooperate again. Of course, I am considering a situation where Russia can resist the pressure of the West and maintain its independence.

I agree with you. Today, NATO is making every effort to isolate us. As a Russian, I hope that we can survive this isolation, become stronger and maintain our independence. Otherwise, a colonial future awaits us. Better isolation than such a future. It is possible that in a century the West will change its attitude towards Russia, if we persevere and show that we are not so easily broken.

@mikegee729 I agree that the West today is trying to isolate Russia like North Korea. But I believe that we will survive all these difficulties. Russia has gone through a lot of hardships and this time we will go through hardships and become stronger.

Well, it would be strange to consider Germany an ally of the Russians after Germany sent tanks and artillery designed to kill the Russians. For me, as a resident of Russia, this is a more hostile step than the closure of embassies. You may have a different opinion on this matter.

@MSD Group I hope it doesn't come to that. I hope that everything will be limited to a new cold war after the end of the war between Russia and Ukraine. It seems that neither Western nor Russian elites have a desire to risk everything. At least the Russian elites definitely don't want this. 😂

I agree that Russia and NATO are enemies today. As a Russian, I see no reason today to maintain diplomatic relations with Europe. This is a waste of money.

Yes that's right. We Russians can only accept this path and prepare for difficulties. I believe that we will be able to survive this isolation, become stronger and preserve the independence of the country. There is no point in crying, it's time to work.

@cv990a4 I do not agree with your thesis that depriving Russia of independence is useless. Installing a colonial government in Russia gives many bonuses to Western elites. The first bonus is control over Russian natural resources. Russia is the largest country in the world and therefore very rich in natural resources. The possibility of exporting our natural resources at a bargain price would greatly enrich the Western elites. The second bonus is the expansion of the military influence of NATO countries. Today, Russia is actively preventing NATO from advancing. For example, in Syria, Russia prevented the US from establishing a colonial government. In the case of turning into a Russian colony, the United States will not only solve this problem, but will also be able to use Russia to fight China (Russia for China will be an analogue of Ukraine for Russia. We will be armed so that we fight the Chinese.). I believe that such pluses actively motivate NATO to turn Russia into its own colony. I fully agree with you about the dubious results of our government. Instead of reviving great Russia, returning the territory of the former USSR under our influence, our elites took all the money abroad. The incompetence of our government has led to the fact that the independence of our country is under threat. The West would never dare to encroach on the independence of a strong Russia. I hope that we will survive all these difficulties and become stronger. Well, I hope that our Noviope elites will be replaced by elites who will build a great Russia that the whole world will reckon with. Turkey was able to revive its state after the 20th century, and we can do it.
