  1. In Italy, we had a civil war from 1943 to 1945. A civil war that in some ways never really ended because the Americans and Brits were afraid Italy would become a "communist" country, so in a cold war attempt to stop Italy from falling into Soviet influence (the old American paranoid fear of anything that is not their capitalist system) they kept most fascists in power. They also gave mafias power in the South. They never got rid of Italian fascists and they prevented Italian partisans from getting rid of them. So the mess Italy is in today, dear Brits and Americans, is YOUR OWN FAULT.

  2. Please stay in your American South. And take the American military bases in Italy with you. We have been under American occupation since post WWII, no wonder a lot of Italians are not very pro-Usa. Also, I lived in the USA for 1 year in 1992 and 6 months in 2010. I am sorry but the quality of life, food, culture etc in the USA is not comparable to most European countries.
