@B_Bodziak thanks, that makes more sense. Well, since they fired the people who were studying the bird flu, and they put tariffs on Mexico (were alot of your veggies and fruit come from, right?), food will probably become ever more expensive over there. How is Trump going to spin that?

I am not American and I do not eat eggs. Are eggs THAT important for Americans? All this worrying about eggs in the USA is wild to me 😂 almost as wild as the bathroom issue. Or do you use "eggs" to mean food in general?

@aureateseigneur5317 Yeah, I forgot Americans eat eggs even for breakfast.

@R_SENAL yeah I guess. I am vegan, so my baked goods do not have eggs. I forget most people are not vegan.

@fedethegreat88 thank you. Yes I know it's a joke now, I was just curious why eggs and not, for example, burgers. The USA is called the "culture of hamburgers" over here 😂

@justkiddin84 I think my reply was deleted. Can you see it?

@ellielynx3071 yeah it depends on diet choices too. In Italy fruits, vegetables, pasta, beans etc are much cheaper than in the USA, even organic food. Most of our traditional dishes do not require eggs. Vegetarians/ vegans can get their proteins from beans and soy. Most vegan food is fortified with vitamins and proteins. We do not need eggs. We also do not eat as much as Americans.

@lindasimons691 of course it is. American politics are never about real issues. They have been about stupid culture wars for decades. In Europe nobody cares about religion, abortion, bathrooms etc. The only distraction here is xenophobia. Unfortunately that is a big problem in Europe. But I can not think of anything else.

@zemorph42 I spent a year in the USA as an exchange student, and several months years later too. I never ate an American breakfast with eggs. In Italy breakfast is usually coffee and cookies, or coffee and a croissant. Eggs for breakfast is very strange to us. Actually, most food in the USA is strange to us. Btw, how much are eggs now? Did they get more expensive with Trump?

@sewmuchdufus usually it's bread. Bread is the staple in all diets across the world. Milk is not a staple in Mediterranean diets for example. Vegetarian milks like soya, almonds etc are popular choices in Italy. Many people here are intollerant to milk. In Japan/Asia too I believe. I lived in the USA for almost 2 years. Americans drink milk like its water. Italians mainly use it for cappuccino in the morning. We are more concerned with the price of bread, pasta, vegetables etc. Americans with the price of eggs, milk, meat etc. Different diets.

@sewmuchdufus oh I know. Just saying, maybe it's time for Americans to switch to a better diet. I gained 10 kilos after a year I spent in the USA as an exchange student. I lost those 10 kilos in a few months after going back to Italy. American food is poison.
