  1. I am an atheist and I believe religions are VERY dangerous, because they can convince people, even "decent" people, to do terrible things in the name of "god". I mean, if someone thinks they are following god's orders/ wishes, they are not going to stop because of human laws or reasons 😞 I consider myself lucky to have atheist parents who were also involved in politics and activism. They taught me to NEVER trust religious "leaders" of any religion. And never blindly trust any government either. Italians in general are not trusting people. We are very skeptic. I spent almost two years in the USA in the past, and it was obvious they were in general more trusting of religious institutions, the government, other people. It was a long time ago thou, I dont know if things have changed. Looking at the MAGA cult, probably not much 😂
