  2. Because EU leaders are either bought or threatened by the USA. Italy was never a big supporter of Ukraine for example. We (Italians, especially here in the North) like Russia, have big businesses with Russia and used to have cheap Russian gas. Meloni is a servant to Washington like no other Italian leader before.

  8. That's because Italians want one thing, but Washington wants another, and we have been occupied by the USA since post WWII. That's why we seem bipolar 😂 Italians, especially in the North, are very anti-Nato, pro-Russia, pro-China etc. I live near Venice. We have a long history of trade and cultural exchange with many countries.

Ironic, since competition is supposed to be the core of capitalism 😂 we already make a lot of advanced military equipment here in Italy. And in Germany. Europe as a whole has a better educated & skilled workforce/population than the USA. Better human resources. France also have their own nuclear weapons. The USA do not want an indipendent and strong Europe. They want us to stay the junior partners in NATO. They boycott any European building of our own army because, especially Trump, see European countries as vassal states. But Europeans are tired of being the USA's lapdogs.

  40. Italians stand with Russia and Palestine. Has been like this since post WWII and will always be. Meloni is not speaking for Italians, she is a Washington puppet. She is not even speaking for her government allies, who are pro-Russia. And even her own party is full of old-school fascists who hate Israel because they are antisemitic (the real antisemitic, not the pro-Palestine supporters). Russia and Palestina have supporters on both the Left and the far Right in Italy, for different reasons. Germany is a basket case about Israel, because of history obviously. But most European countries are not like Germany at all. Italy was the biggest supporter of the PLO in the West.

  46. Especially here in Italy. Even Meloni, who is the most obviously bought by Washington Italian leader ever, is against a full on war with Russia. No Italian citzen would approve. We have alot of business deals with Russia and China. We have a history of friendship with both countries.

We do not have any "enemies" as a country. The USA has many. We just want to like in peace, exchange cultural experiences with other countries, and trade goods. We have a different idea of "freedom of speech" and "human rights" too in Europe compared to the USA. Elon Musk for example does not understand that. We really do not have much in common with the USA.

  56. Yes, it is clear to many Europeans. I know it is clear to us Italians. But most European leaders are bought or threatened by the USA. They are spineless. Italians love Russia. This is not OUR war. This is an American war to destroy both the EU and Russia. The USA knows that the EU plus Russia would be a powerful rival. So they want to destroy us 😞
