  1. So what’s the solution? People have to go back to trade schools after we finished our masters ? Or spend more money on governmental programs to work in the government? This certainly is not a solution, it’s the global labor force supply and demand, and artificial intelligence taking a percentage of jobs people used to have in the economy. I saw what the trades did to my dad when he was alive, and I’d never ever do anything like that and be miserable day in and day out

I disagree with some of this video, there some college careers that are worth it for a college education such as Medical school, law school, engineering, bio chemistry, etc if a person is going to college for things like liberal arts, philosophy, psychology, etc there are not many jobs in those areas unless you get your doctorate and teach at a university. I think 🤔 this college for all was started until Clinton and progressed to bush jr, Obama etc and they wanted people to go to college for any major and that wasn’t the answer, because you need a marketable skill to get a job in engineering etc I agree the trades will hire workers such as electricians, plumbers, elevator repair etc. It also depends on a personality because some people might not like trades, not because they are lazy, they might not want to work in an elevator shaft, the conditions or working environments for the trades are something where you have to adapt to the environment especially electrical line workers in colder weather conditions

By the way the grass isn’t always greener on the other side, I’ve never worked in trades, I personally work in healthcare management and people have told me they don’t like the job in trades, so you have to get a good mindset for those type of jobs. Some of the people I talked with hate the trades because money isn’t their only motivation, they hate the conditions. I’ve talked with police who hate their jobs because it’s much more difficult today dealing with the public than a long time ago, I’ve talked to nurses who are broke and also driving for Uber. This whole economic situation is something happening in our country is a larger issue and concern especially with government spending
