  1. ​ @wavydavy9816  I'm a cyclist and they just steal the right of way and come directly towards you head on, every day. They reverse or pull out on you in car parks. Sometimes they look you in the eye as they do it lol. It's easier just to bail onto the path and risk a fine or getting assaulted by people who think you shouldn't be on the path either

  3. ​ @Ominousheat  there are clearer pictures that show the driver certainly died instantly and the passengers were likely knocked unconscious immediately. Bikes are known to hit around 200mph on that road. Thats around 400lb of bike plus the 2 riders weight maybe 300lb hitting your car head on that was probably going around 40mph also. They had no chance of survival.

  4. ​ @kevindarkstar  the bike was certainly going too fast. If you see a clearer image it's more apparent. Maybe the car driver did something wrong too, but the bike was certainly going over 100mph, probably closer to 180 by the looks. It totally disintegrated upon impact, a family car simply cannot achieve the speeds that would do that to a bike going 40mph like it was supposed to

  5. I live in the area. It's a well known road for superbikes on hot days hitting their top speeds. Every area has these notorious roads, it was just a matter of time really and will likely happen again

  8. ​​ there's about a mile and half of almost perfectly straight road from the direction the biker was coming. Top end bikes can achieve 200mph long before that. Anything above 160mph is nearly 200mph for a regular, sensible driver's perspective

  10. It's a well known local road where people like to test and play with certain 2 wheeled vehicles wherever the sun comes out. The tragedy is if it was another grim day they'd have been okay because they wouldn't have been playing on the road

  11. It's clear if you see a closer picture that the bike had to be going 180mph at least. You can't go that fast by accident

  12. ​ @davegrimshaw7318  if you see a closer picture you can see it's impossible for the damage to be caused by anything other than the bike going around 180mph. See the scorch marks on the road, the car only traveled another 10 yards after the initial fireball so it can't have been going much more than 40mph at the time, probably went to around 10mph instantly and rolled off the road. The bike has totally disintegrated.
