@fortherightreasons Moderation by administrators is key. I'm tired of hearing excuses about why the members of a group cannot participate in the decision-making processes for their own group. When only a few elites get to decide, they are easily corruptable, regardless of their initial good intitions.

@fortherightreasons There are always seemingly good reasons to not allow group members to participate in the decision making process. Group moderation is needed to weed out those with ulterior motives.

When only an elite few get to participate, then it is easy to corrupt them, even if their initial intentions are good and honorable. The leadership of the two corporate parties and many unions are evidence of that.
