@jeffw1267 If it was independently paid, then why did Trump pay it back to his attorney, and then write it off as legal expenses paid to his attorney? Of course, it was NOT an illegal payment, because hush money is legally paid out all the time through attorneys for their clients, and then legally written off as attorney/legal fees.

@Oldmaite But Trump was involved because he legally paid back the money that was legally paid out for legal hush money and then legally recorded it as legal attorney fees. Power of Attorney is common in attorney/client relationships. There is nothing nefarious about it.

@jordan_8329 Never in the history of paying hush money has any attorney or client ever itemized the paying of hush money as payment for hush money. Otherwise, what would be the reason for paying hush money if you revel you are paying hush money?

It is nothing but a political witch hunt that will end up with the arrest and indictment completely vacated, and possibly the AG forced to resign and also pissibly lose his license to practice law in NY. First Trump was martyred, which increased his popularity, and fundraising. Then, when he is rightfully vindicated, he will be perceived as a hero. The Democrats work against their own best interests, again. How do they not know about the Streisand effect? How do they not know about the law of unintended consequences? Have they never been cautioned to be careful for what they wish for, because THEY just might get it? Republicans are close behind. Now is the time for a viable third party to rise from their self-inflicted political wounds.

@laptinek5753 Trump did nothing to stop the Azov Nazi war crimes against Russian speaking civilians. That makes him part of the problem, and a warmonger. Of course, Trump did not do good in terms of the economy. First, he signed the tax bill that gave a two trillion dollar tax cut to the billionaires and Wall Street. Then, Trump signed the CARES Act which gave over six trillion dollars to the billionaires and Wall Street, but only an insulting $1,200 in table scraps to everyone else. That caused over 100,000 small businesses to go bankrupt, tens of millions of people lost their jobs, millions of people lost their homes and became homeless. Then it caused massive inflation, which affected the poor and working class, but not the oligarchy or Wall Street. Those good terms of the economy, which were only good to the oligarchy and Wall Street?

@rottierumbles9451 What good economy? Read my comment above to @Lapti Nek . Trump is responsible for much of our present day bad economy. The good economy we had under Trump was left over from Obama, who lifted us out of the Great Recession caused by Bush.
