@7thsluglord363 You're blaming the victims who work in slave wage jobs that fail to pay a livable wage. BTW $500 in rent for a 4bed house that has to be literally located in a hellhole.
11
Thus, the reason why we now have "gourmet" cat food.

@7thsluglord363 Not if your parents ever kick you out of their basement. Then you will discover that you can't even find a rental for $900.
8
@SN00PICUS Quibbling will get you nowhere, especially if you have a rental location, location, location in nowhere. Even with a $725 rental, Basement Boy still can't afford to pay the rent AND the utilities AND put food on the table with only $900. Besides, 2022 November's median monthly rent rose to $2,007, up from $1,983 last month.

Let them eat more work? Obviously, the billionaires are unaware that senior citizens are sooo happy, and sooo glad to work... at building guillotines!

Better yet, everyone who supports the Ukraine war should be drafted and forced to fight in their war of choice.

@lunarvvolf9606 Refugees do not bang the drums of war. Duh! Don't want them coming to our borders? Then stop the US from destroying their South American countries. Duh, again!
1
People of all ages are completely adverse to working for slave wages that do not pay a living wage. By the way, there really is a Social Security Account. That is how we know how much money there is in it. Duh!

@iceman9678 Again, SS is not a part of the general budget. SS Trust Funds exists independently. Money paid in is used to purchase US Treasury Bonds and Bills, as per the law.
1
@iceman9678 Purchasing US Treasury securities IS a loan, not sort of a loan. You continue to state the obvious as if it were a conspiracy. Did you just find out about SS?
1
@iceman9678 If we had agreed, I never would have responded. Even if the US has a budget surplus, SS would still purchase US Treasury securities, because that is the law.
1
@iceman9678 No, they do not ever go into the General Fund, so stop lying! Read the law and get a clue!
1
@iceman9678 Let me tell you this: I am not your teacher. Search engines are your friends. Confirmation bias is not.
1
@iceman9678 Whatever. The General fund has absolutely nothing to do with SS. SS operates entirely independent of the US Federal Budget. It matters not if the budget runs a surplus or deficit, or how the money is spent. Even during government shutdowns, SS benefits continue to be paid out to recipients.
1
SS has absolutely nothing to do with a balanced budget. It has a separate budget altogether.
1
@robertsteele474 Wrong! SS by law is required to invest all receipts in US Treasury Securities. Thus, SS has absolutely nothing to do with balancing the budget, of which SS is not a part.

@ALPHA-ROTH The only purpose in life is to work? Obviously, you have been brainwashed by your oligarchy overlords. Keep working against your own best interests. You will never be able to retire.
1
@7thsluglord363 Like I said, you live in the middle of nowhere. That's why the rent is sooo cheap. Only nobodies want to live nowhere. Stop blaming the victims. Wealth inequality is greater than ever. It is time to stop the wealthy class takers from stealing the wealth, health and prosperity of the working class producers. Any full time job should pay a living wage of at least $25 per hour, with benefits.
1
The Republicans take it away, while the Democrats give back just a little bit. That's called the 'Racket Effect.' Oops! I mean 'Ratchet Effect.' The Democratic-Republican Duopoly Party is the 'Racket Effect' for their fascist oligarchy overlords.
1
SS is not a pyramid scheme. Learn what the hell you are talking about before you open your mouth in ignorance again.
1
@korpse6rinder SS does not fit the definition of a pyramid scheme. Duh! Please try to speak intelligently, instead of trying to bully us with easily discredited oligarchy propaganda.
1
@MegaDixen How would you know? You can't speak English and you aren't even in the US!
