Anyone can easily verify that it was the US who backed Azov Nazis, overthrew a democratically elected Ukraine government in 2014, outlawed the Russian language, outlawed other political parties, burned down a union hall with union members in it. That is when Crimea voted to become a part of Russia, and the other two western regions voted to become independent states. Then over the next eight years, Azov Nazis slaughtered thousands of people in those two regions until this year, when they asked for Russia's protection, and got it.
