In our post Covid world, why would you want to be based anywhere, other than in the cloud? You can be around anyone in the world when you are online.
11
If you have to convince yourself, then you should pivot. It's a huge mistake to try and "convince" anyone to join your startup. They will never be super excited. Put the word out and the super excited will find you and want to work for you without any convincing on your part. If no one responds, then you didn't put the right word out.

We don't know what step 2 is but step 3 is Profit!

Space X be like: Does your startup need to be on Earth to be successful??

Naaaa! The next AI billionaire will be a Baby Boomer! They have been on the internet since the beginning of the dialup days, and have been involved with writing code since the punch card days. Nobody knows more about the industry than they do. Plus, they are comfortably retired and don't have to worry about money or wasting time working at a survival job. Actually, the only entrepreneurs who have an advantage are those with really good ideas for a startup. Everyone else will fail, regardless of their initial advantages.

@Don_Venti But when will you get started on planning to start your startup?
5
In the cloud
4
@Don_Venti You need to review YC's startup lessons. First, you put the idea out there and that attracts team members and money.

@marct8160 I'm curious to see what you consider to be great videos..... without the stupids.
3
@evanlightner You don't know the FDA.

A better question to ask: Does refusing to change guarantee failure? Let's ask those guys. lol

All we really need to know is which AI is currently the best to use for prompt code writing. Matthew Berman has a helpful video here on YT: 'Vibe Coding Tutorial and Best Practices (Cursor / Windsurf)'
2
Too much traffic. Too many attorneys per capita. Too expensive.
2
It's a buzz word with no meaning. Why don't they just call it 'Prompt Coding'?
2
@_orangutan The heartland is a cultural desert. The Silicon Prairie is inhabited by mostly gophers.
2
@mimi21746 That is stating the obvious and just another reason why the next AI billionaire will be an older, much more experienced Baby Boomer.
2
That's not good advice for recruiting someone with years of coding experience and experience with managing projects and people, which is what a co-founder must do.
2
No participation trophy for you!
2
Dude, stop shopping at Goodwill! You look like you're homeless.

Elon Musk, is that you?

@marct8160 I would be interested in more advanced information about this topic. Do you have any links?

@houseofvenusMD I don't live in San Francisco or the Silicon Valley. There are not enough qualified people living where I live to organize an in person team. Therefore, in my situation, I think it would be better to organize online remotely and asynchronistically.

Michael, thanks for adding Government 2.0! Your announcement seems like a short notice for the June class. Are you still accepting applications for it? Is there a way to apply for the next class? Thanks again!

@pb1pb581 Yes, blockchain cryptocurrencies increase in value as the perceived values brought by the underlying NGOs or nonprofits increase.

@ianborukho It takes a lot of hard work to make something easy to understand and easy to use. A very sharp Occam's Razor is advised.

@chrystarinze Your comment to me got shadow banned. No one cares about when you got here. We only care about our startups. Is that what yours is about? How to be first in the comments on YouTube?
